This encampment was set up by Carme Nogueira to mark the culmination of the journey back to the Atlantic Coast undertaken one long-distant day by Egeria of El Bierzo: ‘The resoure is conceived as a large table which takes the form of a displacement of the Porma river. Starting from the observation of Cerezales itself, where there is a water channel that runs through the centre of the town, it occurred to me that this displacement can serve to connect the exhibition with the context in which it is produced.’ This ephemeral architecture takes in the whole series of voices from far-flung places which happen now to find themselves in this place, an exhibition space that has become a true sound crossroads.
